It's really bad that the whole deal happened. For some reason I wasn't able to concentrate on the Managerial final, and I am probably going to pay for it. How do I know? Because I barely knew how to do anything on the test- even with my notes sheet. Accounting is just way too hard for me. Luckily even if I fail, there is a bogus curve on the test and I'll pass no matter what. I would just like to keep my B!
On a side note, I totally aced the test I studied five hours for.
My other test is on Friday, so look forward to that debacle . . .

That's enough whining! Now onto the meat of the day: Conception II and how I feel!
I love it. I really do. I know the game isn't perfect in any way, but I love it so much. Maybe it's because I really do love H-games from the bottom of my heart- or maybe it's because I'm a total pervert. Those are usually synonymous . . . oh well!
So, what is Conception II? It's a harem game where you, God's Gift, have to "Classmate" with chosen girls to create Star Children who help you and your girl fight monsters in the Labyrinths. It sounds a little messy, but it's not. The story is explained really well to you (and there's more to it)- even if it all comes down on your head within the first ten minutes of gameplay. It's sudden and it's probably because it's also a surprise to your main character. I can't fault it too much for that aspect.
I have seen some people saying the game is gross, disgusting, etc. I don't see it. The "classmating" thing isn't sex at all; they just hold hands and think of each other. They really don't even have to hold hands according to some of conversations that happen. You do get a pink, naked version of the heroine you are classmating with on the screen- so maybe that's gross? But since she only holds your hand and has no defining features I find it hard to not like the scenes for that reason. I don't like them because they are repetitive, so I skip them. You can skip a lot of scenes, too. Transformations, classmating, the Star Children being born, etc. You can skip all of them. It's awesome.
Besides the basics of: it's an H-game!, Conception II also has battles and such. The labyrinths remind me a lot of the ones in Fate/Extra (if anyone has even played that) and obviously the Persona dungeons. That battle style is similar to the later Personas, and you get to choose where you want to attack the opponent. You can't have your Star Children sit in the same place, but you can attack anywhere even if your kids are in the way.
At first the battle system seems like it's easily exploitable, but as you go on and train more Star Children it can be a challenge to place them correctly to fight so they don't die when they are hit. It becomes a little bit of a challenge but no more challenging than any other turn based rpg. Let's face it, turn based rpgs are only hard when the bosses hit you hard- the rest of the time they are all sunshine and cookies.
I'm not far in the game yet; I played the demo and have only played a few hours of the actual game. I know there is male classmating later, so I am looking forward to that. The story isn't bad, I'm actually pretty interested in the whole thing. I can't wait until finals are over so I can play more--- and also finish Bravely Default. It's a game I suggest you buy because it's fun and cute. The price tag may be steep if you are just curious about the game, so play the demo if you are unsure.
