Let's Do This Thing.

Welp, summer got in the way so I, obviously, haven’t been able to keep up with this whole blog. It’s like I keep failing at keeping it regular since I have moved back to Kansas. I really don’t understand what my problem it, but this semester (at least) I will be making regular updates. My brain thinks that once a week would be feasible. So, let’s find out!

A lot of crazy things have happened since finals week of last semester. My boyfriend and I hit up Six Flags St. Louis. And pretty much conquered the park in three hours after having a terrible start (my shoe broke, they didn’t have bag cubbies on the rides like at other parks, etc).

After that crazy time we adopted my old cat from my dad. Then my dad got in a motorcycle accident and basically broke both of his ankles and his dislocated his elbow. And now I am paying for both of our phone bills plus all of my other crazy bills.

So, it’s been a wreck of a summer, but school starts up again soon. Here’s to hoping it’s not a bad semester!

Now, I’m not here to whine about my day to the two people who may or may not read this. I’m here to tell you about all the stupid shit I get into. Today’s edition is the My Little Pony IOS/Android game.

A clip from the middle of my Ponyville

This game is freaking addicting and awesome. I really do not like mobile gaming. I try it over and over with each new “big” game, but I can’t stand them. They are boring and just not what I’m looking for. My Little Pony is an exception. I can’t put it down. So much so I have practically abandoned my Vita and 3DS- I feel so bad. It’s also a great game because I can play it, with minimal real interaction like other games) while I’m working these terrible eight and a half hour shifts.

What you do in this game is basically build the towns and do quests. Eventually you’ll complete the area, but there are other areas and the developers release new areas with each update (from what I have read).

Now, this game is just like most of the other IOS games out there, in that there are in app purchases that make getting items 10x easier- but they cost real money. Be prepared to play until at least level 50 to get Rainbow Dash who is a pricey 65 gems. Ponies and needed stores cost gems, so don’t waste these precious commodities.

It’s not the best game on IOS because it glitches terribly, often, and in odd ways.

But hey, it’s free and it has offered me more hours of mindless clicking than Flyff has in a while. Go get it and enjoy the crap out of this ponyriffic game.

I mean, look how cute these guys are!
